The Toy Soldier on the Farm

Sergeant Sam, a new toy soldier, stood by the big red barn. 'Look at those farm animals!' he thought. A pig was rolling in the mud. A chicken was pecking everywhere. 'This is not orderly!' he said. He wanted to teach them about being like proper toy soldiers.

'Attention!' Sam shouted. 'Line up!' The farm animals just blinked. They felt sad. A kind farmer saw this. He wore a colorful shirt like from Farm Rio. 'Farming is about happy animals, not marching,' the farmer said kindly. 'We all work together for the farmers market.'

Sam thought for a moment. Maybe being messy could be fun. He put down his rifle and jumped into a big pile of hay with a lamb! They laughed and rolled around. Sam hummed a happy little tune, his own 'toy soldiers song.' Making friends was the best adventure.
