The Elf and the Moonberries
An elf learns that sharing with a friend makes everything better.
A Sparkling Discovery

In a sun-dappled, magical forest, a little elf named Pip found the most wonderful treasure: a tall bush covered in sparkling moonberries! "Wow!" he gasped. They were his favorite, shimmering like tiny blue moons. "I want them all for myself!" he thought, holding his little basket tightly.
Too High to Reach

Pip stood on his tiptoes and stretched his little arms as high as they could go. He jumped and hopped, but the yummy moonberries were just out of reach. He saw his friend, Griz the gnome, who was very strong but also not very tall. Pip sighed, feeling a little sad and hungry.
A Smart Idea

Then, Pip had a brilliant idea. What if he shared? "Griz!" he called out. "If you help me reach the berries, we can share them all!" Griz the gnome smiled a big smile. He bent down, and Pip climbed onto his sturdy shoulders. Together, they were tall and strong!
A Sweet Reward

With Griz's help, Pip easily picked every last moonberry, filling the basket to the top. They found a comfy, mossy log and sat down. Pip gave Griz a big handful of the sweet, glowing berries. They tasted even better because he was sharing them with a friend.
