Sprout's Sunny Surprise
A talking plant helps a sad bee by using teamwork and kindness to grow a new flower.
A Sad Little Bee
In a sunny garden lived a cheerful little talking plant named Sprout. One morning, he saw a tiny bee named Buzzy crying on his leaf. "What's wrong, little friend?" Sprout chirped. Buzzy sniffled, "The hot sun made all my favorite flowers wilt! Now I have nowhere to get nectar, and I'm scared to fly far away to find new ones." Sprout's green leaves drooped a little, feeling sad for his new friend. He wanted to help.
A Brave Task
"Don't you worry!" said Sprout. "I have a plan, but I'll need your help. Are you brave enough for a small adventure?" Buzzy wiped his tears and nodded. "First," Sprout instructed, "bring me one tiny seed from that colorful packet on the bench." Buzzy zipped over and brought it back. "Great! Now for the trickiest part. Can you bring a single drop of water from the big birdbath? It might seem scary, but I know you can do it!"
Friendship Blooms
Buzzy took a deep breath, flew to the birdbath, and carefully carried a sparkling water drop on a clover leaf. He put the seed in the soil and plopped the water on top. Then, Sprout began to glow! He gathered all the sunshine and focused it on the little seed. Whoosh! A beautiful, big flower with bright yellow petals bloomed right before their eyes! Buzzy buzzed with joy and danced around his new flower. Sprout and Buzzy were the best of friends, knowing that working together made everything better.
