Gnorman the Gnome's Great Bedtime Adventure
A little gnome learns to love bedtime by facing small fears and using his imagination.
The Last Rays of Play

Gnorman the little gnome loved to play! All day long, he scampered in the meadow, chasing butterflies and collecting shiny pebbles. But as the sun dipped low, painting the sky in fiery oranges and soft purples, Gnorman heard his mother's gentle call, 'Gnorman, time for bed, dear!' Gnorman sighed. He loved playing so much, and the thought of leaving the fading light behind made a tiny flutter of worry in his tummy. The shadows were starting to stretch long and twisty.
A Tidy Gnome's Home

Inside their snug mushroom home, the air was warm and smelled of pine. 'First, let's tidy up,' his mother suggested, pointing to Gnorman's scattered wooden blocks and acorn cups. Gnorman sighed again, but then he saw a tiny, wobbly block tower he’d forgotten. 'Oh, I almost left my castle!' he exclaimed. Together, they carefully placed each toy into its special basket. 'Teamwork makes tidy work!' his mother chirped, giving him a warm hug. Gnorman felt a little better, knowing everything was in its place.
Shadow Puppets and Starlight

In his cozy, leaf-lined bed, Gnorman snuggled under his mossy blanket. The room was dark, but a tiny firefly jar pulsed with a soft glow beside his bed. Suddenly, he saw a big, shadowy monster on the wall! His tummy fluttered. His mother, noticing, gently pointed. 'Look, Gnorman, it's not a monster! It’s your hat on the chair, making a dragon shadow! And that wobbly shadow? That's just your favorite acorn toy dancing!' Gnorman giggled. He watched the shadows, and soon, the scary monster became a friendly dragon guarding his dreams, and the wobbly toy became a brave knight on an adventure.
Sweet Dreams, Little Gnome

With a yawn, Gnorman snuggled deeper, feeling safe and warm. He imagined his dragon friend flying him through a sky full of sparkling stardust, searching for the biggest, juiciest berries. His knight toy battled mischievous squirrels to protect their treasure. The tiny flutter in his tummy was gone, replaced by peaceful drowsiness. His mother kissed his forehead. 'Sweet dreams, my brave little gnome,' she whispered. And Gnorman drifted off, ready for a whole new day of adventures when the sun rose again.
