Bolt the Robot Learns to Share

Bolt was a little robot who loved shiny things. His favorite treasure was a big, sparkly gear. "My precious gear," he would hum, polishing it until he could see his own reflection. It was the shiniest gear in his whole collection, and he never let anyone else touch it.

One sunny afternoon, Bolt saw his friends, Pip and Gizmo, in the park. They were trying to build a magnificent spinning tower, but it just wobbled sadly. "We're missing one last gear for the top," sighed Pip, looking at the empty spot. "Our tower can't spin without it."

Bolt clutched his special gear tightly. He didn't want to give it away! But then he looked at his friends' disappointed faces. He imagined how the tower could whirl and twirl, sparkling in the sun. He realized that seeing the tower spin with his friends would feel much better than having a lonely gear.

"You can use my gear!" Bolt announced, holding it out. His friends cheered! He carefully placed the shiny gear on top of the tower. Instantly, it started to spin, faster and faster, sending dazzling rainbows of light all over the park. Bolt learned that sharing didn’t just make his friends happy—it made him feel warm and sparkly inside, too.
