Astronaut Leo and Earth's Changing Colors
Astronaut Leo explores Earth's changing seasons.
The Curious Astronaut

Astronaut Leo loved to zoom among the stars. His spaceship, 'Stardust Explorer,' was his home. But every time he orbited Earth, he saw its colors change. Sometimes it was a brilliant green, then a warm orange and red, then sparkling white. 'What makes Earth change its coat so often?' he wondered, scratching his helmet. He felt a little far away from all that magic.
Autumn's Gentle Landing

One sunny day, Leo decided to find out. He gently landed his 'Stardust Explorer' in a forest full of golden leaves. 'Wow!' he whispered, stepping out. The air smelled crisp and sweet. Red and orange leaves danced down like tiny, colorful parachutes. A little squirrel, chattering excitedly, seemed to be gathering nuts. Leo watched, amazed. 'Is this Earth's cozy blanket?' he thought. But soon, the air grew cooler, and more leaves fell, making him wonder what would happen next.
Winter's Frosty Whisper

Just as Leo got used to the warm colors, fluffy white snow began to fall! Everything turned sparkling white. 'Brrr, it's chilly!' he shivered, even in his special suit. A tiny blue bird on a bare branch looked sad. 'Chirp, chirp, where are the berries? When will the warm sun come back?' it seemed to ask. Leo felt a small worry. Would the colors ever return? He realized how important each change was, and wanted to help the little bird find its warmth and food.
The Earth's Secret and a Helping Hand

Leo looked at the sad bird and then at the big, sleepy trees. He gently offered the bird a special space berry. Then, a soft, rumbling voice seemed to come from the ground. 'Fear not, little bird, and curious astronaut!' It was a very old, wise oak tree. 'Earth simply tilts and spins around the sun, bringing different seasons. Winter makes Earth rest, ready for Spring's new growth.' The tree showed Leo how. Understanding clicked for Leo! He realized the seasons were a beautiful dance, not a disappearance.
A Promise to Earth

With new understanding, Leo felt joyful. He helped the tree by gently clearing some snow from around its roots, imagining the tiny green shoots underneath. He even hummed a happy space tune. 'Earth's seasons are amazing!' he declared. The little bird sang a happy tune. Leo knew it was time to go back to the stars, but now he would watch Earth's dance of seasons with a new kind of wonder, carrying the warmth of his earthly adventure with him. He promised to visit again.
