Pip the Museum Ghost

A friendly ghost learns about history and friendship in a museum.

Pip's Wish

Pip was a little, friendly ghost. He lived in a big museum full of old things. One night, Pip saw a shiny red ball in a glass box. "Wow!" he whispered. He wanted to play with it. But a sign said, "Do Not Touch." Pip felt a little sad.

A New Friend

The next day, a girl named Lily visited the museum. She saw the red ball too! "Wow, a ball! I want to play!" she said. Pip floated closer. He saw that Lily wanted the same thing. They both looked at the ball and sighed. It was so pretty, but they couldn't play with it.

A Ball for Playing

Lily's mom saw them. "This old ball is for looking," she said kindly. "It's history! It tells us stories from long ago." Then she pulled out a new, bouncy red ball! "This one is for playing!" she said. Pip and Lily cheered. They played together and became best friends.
