Gus's Big Apple

Gus the giant finds a giant apple and wants to eat it all by himself.

Gus was a very big giant. He found a super big, shiny red apple! "This is my favorite apple!" Gus smiled. He sat down in the green grass to eat it. A tiny squirrel peeked from a tree. A little bird chirped from a branch. A fluffy rabbit wiggled its nose. They all looked at Gus's yummy, giant apple.

Gus notices his little friends are sad because they want some apple too.

The squirrel looked sad. The little bird made a soft peep. The fluffy rabbit drooped its ears. Gus saw their sad faces. He had his big, juicy apple all to himself. But it felt a little quiet. "Hmm," Gus thought. "My apple is so yummy. But they look so sad. What should I do?"

Then Gus had a happy idea! He carefully broke a big piece off his apple. "Here you go, little friends!" he said with a kind smile. He gave a piece to the squirrel, a piece to the bird, and a piece to the rabbit. They all munched and munched the sweet apple. "Yummy! Thank you, Gus!" they cheered. Gus felt warm and joyful inside. Sharing his apple made everyone, especially Gus, feel super happy!
