A Friend Arrives

Gnorman's friend Squeaky the squirrel arrives, and Gnorman doesn't know how to share the four berries.

Just then, his best friend Squeaky the squirrel scampered over. "Ooh, berries!" Squeaky chattered. Gnorman looked at his four berries, and then at his friend. He felt a little sad. He wanted all the berries, but he also wanted to be a good friend. What should he do?

Fair and Square!

Gnorman has a smart idea to share the berries one by one, so they each get two.

Gnorman had a smart idea! "Let's share," he said. He gave a berry to Squeaky. "One for you." Then he took one. "And one for me." He did it again. Now they both had two berries! They munched happily together. Sharing was fun!
